If the ground is too hard, do not twist or hammer it with force. Try to soften the ground with water and then insert into the ground. 4. These lights are as described, tall and made of metal. The only ones I have had are the solar plastic ones that didn’t last long at all. I thought these were solar but due to my fault and not reading the description like I should have, I need a transformer and an electrician to install them for me. The outdoor pathway lights are of great quality. I love they are not big bulky pathway lights.Nice slim line lights and tall enough for when we get the snow.
