This thing is massive. It has a beautiful copper color and it has several different shades of a copper and gold, I love that it can be used on a slanted ceiling. It wasn’t too hard to adjust and make it even. I read the dimensions before I ordered it, but I still didn’t understand how big this was. It gives off a soft light. It’s definitely not as bright as I wanted it to be. It was super easy to install, and it was also pretty easy to make it level. The only thing I wished is that it would give off a brighter light. But it is super beautiful. And if you have a foyer that you’re looking for a light for this would be perfect. I had installed a medallion when we replaced our chandelier. I was disappointed because the medallion was too small for the fixture. This ceiling ring was perfect to give the illusion of a larger medallion without having to start over! It would also be useful when the medallion you love is too small for what you need- more intentional than was my case. Calculating the size I needed was the tricky part! With the medallion, this ring, and the ceiling between the two painted the same color, it appears that I have a much larger medallion than I actually have.
