Excellent at the foot of a queen sized bed. I was not expecting it to have pre-installed shoe storage slots and I am not using for shoes - so be aware that this is intended as a shoe storage box primarily. The slots are attached around the perimeter inside so not a big deal to flatten them and use it for other items.
