We purchased this for a new home build that had a slide in range in an island. We did not want an exhaust hood that hung down from the ceiling and this one was perfect for a flush mount in the ceiling. It was priced considerably less than other brands that had white glass finishes. There are a couple discoveries we made however. It did not turn on once the power was brought to the new build. We called Awoco and were told to check in the black box under the stainless grill, for a white connection that sometimes is disconnected. That solved the problem and the unit lit up and worked with the remote and the voice commands. Customer service was very helpful and seemed to know exactly what to look for. There is one other thing to be aware of with the voice command, occasionally it picks up what it believes to be a request for action and starts talking, asking for directions. We thought we were hearing voices until we realized it was the exhaust fan talking. Now if the TV or one of us saying something similar to "Hi Awoco" (prompt for commands) gets her talking we have a good chuckle.. Norma. Ware, MA. Sat Feb 14 2026

Truly excellent, no fluff. The mattress is heavy . You need two people if you’re bringing it up the stairs. It’s easy after that. Use the inclosed tool to cut through the first layer of plastic and it begins inflating. Cut through the remaining plastic and listen to the hiss. Remove the plastic and it immediately inflates. This is not one of those mattresses that you need to wait 72 hours to inflate, it’s literally ready to go. If you need a firm mattress that’s not hard, but stiff enough, this is the one.
