After the third attempt, it was still cracked, but we didn't notice it in time. I loved the barn door style. Excellent machine and a very good machine. My reason for the double take is because of small or tiny bootie socks. With this washing machine compared to other front load I have owned before this one gets a small sock stuck in the drain in the rubber below where the door is located every now and then (nothing bothersome).
