I cut to fit gray rubber cover base (see photos) from HD to fit under base plates for added stability, to prevent contact from water and chlorine, prevent water from intruding into anchor holes, and for leveling posts. I'm 5ft.11 1/2 inches tall & this 6ft. shed is NOT 6ft. The instructions are not effectively understood because, of the backwards instructions or language!
