I cut to fit gray rubber cover base (see photos) from HD to fit under base plates for added stability, to prevent contact from water and chlorine, prevent water from intruding into anchor holes, and for leveling posts. Ventilation was a little bit limited, (the reason I rated it 45 stars) however this was really only an issue during the day. Zippers and material are great quality!
