This is a fairly substantial outdoor cat-house. We have a few strays that we care for, and I want to be sure they have somewhere to go this winter (besides going under our front porch!). The insultation looks decent. I will probably do a little more to ensure it's warm inside, like getting an appropriately-sized outdoor heating pad (the floor does have a space that a cord can fit through, which is great). This has been a great addition to our cats’ furniture collection! The smalleryounger cat loves to sleep on the flower on top, which is made of something like memory foam, but a bit denser. I imagine it is somewhat self-heating and also helps to hold onto the heat from the window. My largest cat loves the middle level basket. She will curl up in it for hours and has since I took it out of the box. Her sister is terrified of the entire thing and avoids even being near it. I have no idea why. I picked it because it had 3 levels, and they are always together, but it has not appealed to her yet.
