I got the sofa bed in beige faux leather with cherry legs. I have not tried sleeping on it, and it is quite solid to sit on, but it is nonetheless exactly what I needed. I wanted to convert my son's old room into a den/guestroom that could accommodate him on his infrequent visits home (a regular sofa might have made him feel unwelcome and displaced) or that could accommodate the occasional overnight guest without encouraging them to linger too long. This sofa is the perfect size to create a reading corner amidst a wall of books, while still providing reasonable sleeping accommodations for 1-2 guests. I am very pleased. I looked far and wide before finding anything in a pale beige faux leather (I am vegan and dislike large dark sofas). I loved this storage bench! The teal is very pretty, the thing’s well made, hinges are of great quality, and it arrived very well packaged. The only reason (well, 2 reasons) why it does not get 5 stars is because it’s so light, it moves too easily around wood floors, so I always have to be putting it in place over and over again, cuz it moves about easily from just having my little kid or dog slightly brush against it... then again, some people might like how light it is. This is a very nice-looking ottoman with great storage, but I do have a few reservations about its long-term durability in a busy household. Pros Functionality True to Size It measured exactly as expected, though visually it feels quite large and substantial next to my couch. Easy to Smooth Out While most items left on top will leave a slight mark or indentation in the faux leather, the material is forgiving enough that you can easily rub your hand over it to make the marks disappear. Concerns Around Durability Because it is pleather, I have to be careful not to keep anything sharp or angular near it. My main worry is how it will hold up against my dog and kids over time. Just the other day, my 14-year-old son leaned on it awkwardly, and I was genuinely nervous that the hinges—which are located in the middle—might snap or break.
