Purchased this for our front entryway. It's an attractive mat. When I selected it online, I thought the dots in between the diamond patterns were just white painted rubber, but they are in fact metal-backed crystal rivets. The only issue I had was the mat came with a missing rivet, but overall, the quality is nice. Have not placed it outside yet, since our current mat is fused down with ice and snow. Care instructions: vacuum, shake, and rotate the rug regularly. Remove dried spots immediately by scraping carefully towards the middle of the spot. Do not rub wet spots. Absorb moisture with paper towels, and clean with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Professional carpet cleaning when needed.

This rug is soft underfoot and while it’s just 2 people and 2 dogs on it for a couple days so far - it also seems to stay put without any extra assistance from grip tape or what have you - it could be a tad bit thicker for comfort but since i mainly got it to assist elderly dogs feet i am happy with it as is.
