It was hard to find a rug that was long enough for my hallway, so was happy to find this one. I chose the all brown rug, didn't see this two tone one in the picture above. I kind of wished I would have chose the lighter color because the hallway has no windows and can get very dark. Other than that, I am happy, has a nice softness under the foot, vacuums nicely. Care instructions: vacuum, shake, and rotate the rug regularly. Remove dried spots immediately by scraping carefully towards the middle of the spot. Do not rub wet spots. Absorb moisture with paper towels, and clean with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Professional carpet cleaning when needed.

This rug is soft underfoot and while it’s just 2 people and 2 dogs on it for a couple days so far - it also seems to stay put without any extra assistance from grip tape or what have you - it could be a tad bit thicker for comfort but since i mainly got it to assist elderly dogs feet i am happy with it as is.
