Wonderful rug! I need new rugs for my new floors and was looking for something to fit in with my antique decor. This design was so beautiful and I knew it would fit it so well with what I was looking for! When the package arrived,the rug was folded up in a small shipping bag. It was compressed in a plastic bag inside. Upon opening, it fluffed right up instantly and unfolded with ease! When spreading it out on the floor it had shown barely any creases. The material is really soft and plush, walking on it bare foot is comfortable and is not scratchy. There is a non-slip padding underneath which is always really appreciated! It also came with a care card with instructions for cleaning and a QR code for instructions to flatten out any creases. Since I wasnt experiencing any issues with folds I did not need the video. Overall, the design is very clear and the colors are rightfully muted as to not be overbearing. It truly looks like a tapestry and I love it! We decided to put this in our office space to protect the hardwood flooring from the rolling of the chair. It does allow the chair to roll. We DID however have to use double sided carpet tape to stretch it into place and help keep it secure. Overall, not too bad. We desperately need to redo and paint this room (its cookie monster blue) but its low on the priority list....so to make it a bit cozier and more functional, this works well as our solution. Care instructions are a vacuum and rotate the rug regularly. Remove dried spots immediately by scraping carefully towards the middle of the spot. Do not rub wet spots. Not exactly what I expected...but it works. I knew this would be a thin rug. But it's really like a blanket when you unpack it. Also, very soft. We decided to put this in our office space to protect the hardwood flooring from the rolling of the chair. It does allow the chair to roll. We DID however have to use double sided carpet tape to stretch it into place and help keep it secure. Overall, not too bad. We desperately need to redo and paint this room (its cookie monster blue) but its low on the priority list....so to make it a bit cozier and more functional, this works well as our solution.
