This rug is soft underfoot and while it’s just 2 people and 2 dogs on it for a couple days so far - it also seems to stay put without any extra assistance from grip tape or what have you - it could be a tad bit thicker for comfort but since i mainly got it to assist elderly dogs feet i am happy with it as is. It was hard to find a rug that was long enough for my hallway, so was happy to find this one. I chose the all brown rug, didn't see this two tone one in the picture above. I kind of wished I would have chose the lighter color because the hallway has no windows and can get very dark. Other than that, I am happy, has a nice softness under the foot, vacuums nicely.
