This range hood is high quality. I bought a cheaper version a few years ago for my old house. I liked it, but now that I have this I can see where the cheaper one was lacking. This range hood is thicker steel that wont dent as easily. The oil tray is steel, the baffle filters feel commercial grade, the large duct size really moves a lot of air. I am glad I spent the money. Its loud but quieter than the old one. Relatively quiet for the amount of air it moves. The instructions are good, mounting is easy and secure. We recently purchased a new gas range for our rental house that we own. I was surprised that it didn't come with a broiler pan, nor give that as an option to add to the purchase. I consider that to be as basic as a burner! Very disappointing!!! Also. BTW, I don't understand why you went to JUST steam clean vs Self-Clean! I think you should either provide both OR JUST Self-cleaning. The latter is definitely preferred. I wasn’t sure about using a ductless product but as I have a sloped ceiling in my kitchen and didn’t want to have to figure a way to run ductwork out without ruining the look of my kitchen, this one made sense. I was shocked at how well it works and just how beautiful it is. I love it. I have a 6 burner gas stove with a griddle and this hood does a great job! It also provides a lot of light. I absolutely loved using these boxes! They were perfect for storing baby clothes. I love the hinged lids because now I never have to worry about losing the lid again! But they also can come off which made it easier to load things into the boxes! The grey handles are sturdy and I like the clean look of them.
