Someone else's review had a picture next to a white stool and it helped me see the true coloring. One of my photo's has white blinds and window trim that may help to see the level of cream color. I wish I had thought to scotchguard the fabric before assembly. I've had no issues though with spills. These were called "Tayna" by Charlton Home when I purchased them.
