This range is very intense! Works great with some corks to get use to. I’ve only used it a few weeks but so far it’s good. It’s small but fits a cookie sheet (just barely), baked a ham for Christmas. The gas range is very powerful, the iron grill is sturdy and offers a flat top (no pot or pan wiggling!) for the entire range. This feature is helpful in a small kitchen with limited counter space. Other reviewers are correct when saying the temperature dial needs to be set above the needed temp to get a correct preheat. Remedy with a hanging oven thermometer. Do not, I repeat, Do not get the ‘GE Installation’ service with this appliance. Even if you buy an installation kit. The technician will come in, excuse in hand, and will tell you that any dust, or light green on the gas pipe disallows them to service the installation. (When plumbers test for gas leaks upon installation they spray a little water on the line, leading to a light green) Be ready with your own plumber on the day of delivery. Extremely disappointed with the delivery service and product quality. I paid extra for in-home delivery, but the crew was unhelpful and failed to realize the unit needed to be unboxed to fit inside. When I attempted to return the item due to this experience, customer service incorrectly informed me that a return was impossible. I ultimately brought the stove inside myself, only to discover it was missing the gas regulator. Instead of resolving the issue quickly, support gave me the runaround on live chat. I had to source and purchase the missing regulator independently to get this brand-new stove installed. Terrible service and zero accountability.
