Love this dog bed, and more importantly, so does my dog. The best part in the Cool Gel Memory Foam orthopedic insert provides just the right amount of support and does feel cool. The microvelvet fabric on the insert is so soft but again not hot. The bolsters stand up well but are not hard. And the color is just perfect, neutral to go with any color scheme but rich looking. Best part the price was excellent (got it on sale). Couldn't be happier with this purchase. FYI: This is the Large (39" w x 30" d) and my puppy is currently 40 lbs. but will get to about 50 lbs. so the bed has room for him to grow. I have a unique setup where I have 2 queen beds together because I sleep with my 2 great danes and 1 great pyrenees. I needed to be sure this bed was supportive, with some bounce , because straight memory foam doens't hold up to the amount of weight that could be on the bed. THIS IS AMAZING. First the coils are stiff with tons of support. Exactly what I need! It's an honest 12" high which is important since I have a 12" mattress next to it and it was off in measurements, it would be uncomfortable. But most importantly its extremely comfortable. I got this bed for my dog who is considered a giant breeed, like 200 lbs huge, so I honestly didn’t expect it to actually fit him but it does and then some. Most dog beds never fit him properly or he ends up half hanging off, but this one is insanely big and actually gives him space to fully stretch out and get comfortable. The best part is it is so comfy that I can literally lay on it with him and there is still room, like look at that picture lol. The cushioning is thick and supportive and it does not flatten right away like most beds we have tried. He loved it immediately and now chooses this over the couch every time, which says a lot.
