Perfect! It elevates a wall and it's very easy to work with. It stays straight (unlike those rubber pvc rollable moulding). It's similar to a foam board but it's sturdier. It was easy to cut with shears. Using construction adhesive to stick to the wall, it was a breeze to put up. It's also paintable. I didn't need any primer. Just a couple coats of paint! Very nice & clean wood trim. Its hard to find nice trim at reasonable prices, in the home centers these days. This is a little more than we had anticipated spending (the reason for 4 stars), but it does look really nice & stains very well. Wish it was a little lower price, so we could get more. Kim.
