I'm impressed with this bookcase. The wood is higher quality than I expected, and it was not too hard to put together. It is a very nice-looking piece of furniture. It looks great in my son’s room, and it fits his books well. My only complaints are that the thin back panel was just slightly too small, so it was tricky to nail into place, and the anti-tip system was not well-designed. The instructions showed it screwed into the fiberboard back panel, which would not be strong enough to prevent it tipping over. I used my own earthquake proofing anti-tip kit, and it worked fine.. We really like the overall look of this dresser—it feels well made and fits nicely in the space. The drawers work smoothly and the design is exactly what we were hoping for. The only thing to note is the color it’s a bit cooler and more gray-toned than we expected based on the photos. Still a nice finish, just different than anticipated.
