I have an older set of bedroom furniture that is finished with that red oak stain that I do not really like. Great solid duvet cover with shams. Purchased for teen boy. Did not smell any worse than a set of super expensive organic bamboo sheets we received the same day. They are in fact blue, just a very dark blue/grey but mostly blue (headboard of bed is dark grey for comparison).
