I ordered this a few months ago along with one other, but just different colors. The 1st 2 that were shipped to me were in pieces when I got it. So today I was pleasantly surprised when the 3rd one shipped completely in tacked. When I compared this one to two others I have, discovered that the ceramic is very thin compared to the others. This is probably the reason these broke during shipping. Wayfair was great during this process. Shipping the broken ones back was not very convenient, I thought a picture showing the planter was broken would have been enough. The shiny plastic material can be cleaned and wiped easily when dirt or other material is spilled on it. The larger size is perfect for planting your favorite larger bushes, trees, plants, or foliage, because it gives lots of room for the plant roots to grow and spread out!

At first when I took these out of the box I wasn’t sure if I liked these, they were much more rusticfolk artsy than I expected, they aren’t even perfectly round, the painting isn’t consistent. They also are more of a brownish terra cotta than my other terra cotta pots, which have an orange hue. But then when I placed them in my Southwestern designed Living room they were absolutely perfect. They added just the right amount of rustic charm.
