I was a little confused at the beginning when I got them because for some reason I thought I will get the whole square to install on the wall but they actually sent me only the corners (thank God I bought 4 of them, if you buy one piece only one corner you are going to get) and I wanted the rest of the molding to create a square on the wall. Fortunately I found the rest of the molding to make my vision happen but I have to buy it separately. This has got to be the best thing we bough during our remodel. We put it very high up, as this isn't a molding you'd want where it could get brushed up against. It's not hardy because it...styrofoam! But, man, was it easy to put up and paint. A little tricky to cut, we used a razor blade. But it's gorgeous and you cannot tell it's not wood! Perfect! It elevates a wall and it's very easy to work with. It stays straight (unlike those rubber pvc rollable moulding). It's similar to a foam board but it's sturdier. It was easy to cut with shears. Using construction adhesive to stick to the wall, it was a breeze to put up. It's also paintable. I didn't need any primer. Just a couple coats of paint! I used this as picture frame moulding in a bedroom makeover. It was easy to paint. I used a miter saw to cut it and did have some edges that frayed a bit. Sanding helped. I love the wall molding but was not easy or at least the way I installed was not easy so I gave it 4 stars. I glued them together first and then painted them the color of my wall. The next day I installed them. The larger piece came apart so the glue did not work so I nailed them to the wall. This was definitely worth the wait! This wainscoting was so easy to install, it and was the perfect accent piece for this end wall. I love that it did not need to be nailed onto the wall, so filling nail holes and repainting was not needed. We used a common construction adhesive.
