No issues with the assembly - instruction booklet was detailed, all of the parts were separated into labeled bags so it was easy to put together. Took my teenage daughter and I about two hours, but it was her first time putting together furniture, and she was very meticulous (she loved legos as a kid so this was the perfect adult-ish project for her)! It’s helpful to have a regular screwdriver and an electric screwdriver, as a few of the screws were a bit long. It's manufactured wood so not quite as strong as real wood, but will suit our purposes just fine. We wanted storage for a few board games, towels, etc. for a tiny vacation cabin.
