Wow. For $700, not impressed. Doesn't come with instructions (at all). Also the light they sent is black, so doesn't even match the rustic antique bronze post and mailbox.... the concept was great, but end result for what you paid.. I'm not happy at all. On the directions, how is the best way to mount pole in ground, dig hole? How deep, should you sleeve it or concrete it in? How far down.. things like that. Similar to the topper (which is shown in this picture but not included, although I made the mistake of purchasing that too), this post is a misrepresentation of the item shipped. The listing claims this is made of plastic (which you would think means vinyl). Nope... this is made of cheap, soft wood that is poorly sanded and has dents. The manufacturer could have used wood putty to fix the dents before painting, but did not. They also nail gunned the heck out of the post after they painted it so the post has small holes all around it. Again, they could have and should have used wood putty or another filler to conceal this. I included 3 photos just to show the poor quality of the "finished" work. At the price they are charging, I would expect a much higher quality product; specially since they are claiming this is made in the USA.
