Overall, product is great! Love the design of the grill, however the quality can use improvement. This is the sole reason why we are giving 4 Stars. The product is super sensitive, immediately after opening product, had a few pieces shuffle around and right after big scratches were made on the product. Works well, but there is a learning curve. Very well built, easy to put together. Don’t know about the burnt grease taste that everyone raves about. I use a water pan under my meat to prevent grease from falling into the coals or onto the diffuser. Came out great. The separate firebox chamber is what makes this a "smoker" - connected to the side of the main chamber, the firebox is a smaller chamber where you burn your charcoal or wood fuel. A small hole connecting the 2 chambers allows heat, smoke, and flavor from inside the firebox to enter the main chamber and indirectly cook your meal to a juicy, smoky, and tender perfection.
