It doesn't take up room underneath the cabinet either. *There's a crimp piece required. The metal one didn't fit properly, and they provided a plastic one also which worked, but barely.. Was very tired of hand held water filter pitchers. I needed something with a stationary spout and filters that lasted for maybe a couple of months as well as good tasting water. The stainless steel container is preferable to plastic and the filters last a lot longer. Now I don’t have to store f use refrigerator or cupboard space for all the spare water bottles and pitchers. I've had mine for several years and have been very pleased with it in the last month I've had an issue with it reading a code of F1 and F2 and when I got to talk to somebody from Bissell they said that the machine is no more made and they couldn't help me with figuring out the issue I have to take it in for service other than that it's worked great and it still works now just replace the filters.
