I have two senior dogs and it gets cold here in the Northeast. The cover on this pet heating pad is so soft and it is removable and can be machine washed. There is a timer setting and the temperature range is from 61-69. The instructions say different temperatures but the ones I mentioned are the ones on the remote. I do like that the cord is protected with a casing around it, my dogs are not chewers but this is a nice feature for the ones that are. I have two smaller dogs so they both fit on this pad. i’m so glad i found this. i measured the base of our kitchen sink at least 30 times before i decided on this size and fortunately, there was 1 available from an “open box.” i got it literally for half price and it fits perfectly. the only danger is that the “open box” items are non refundable which is why i measured and remeasured and remeasured. the grate came with extra bumper guards and leg caps in black and clear. this is a very well made item. when i was researching them, i was also checking the weight of them items and i deducted that the heavier the weight, the better the construction. i was right. highly recommend!.
