I got size 0.25" H x 60" W x 48" D - the largest chair mat available. The hardwood floorboards under the desk in my husband's home office were beginning to look stressed, so I ordered this to protect the wood. It was a little pricey for us, but I wanted it to be large enough so he wouldn't feel constrained, and I wanted it to last forever. (I could actually have gotten it cheaper from two other vendors, but I didn't trust them as much as I trust Wayfair.) I also got the Three Year Protection Plan that was offered because, after reading many many reviews from ALL the top makers of tempered glass chair mats, I could see that VERY occasionally, for some unknown reason, a chair mat from might suddenly just shatter (usually within the first year or so), so I got the Protection Plan to calm my fears about that. Wow! This was a fabulous gift for my husband who works from home but his office chair has now scraped up a section of our hard wood floors. This glass mat is very thick and sturdy especially for a man who weighs 240 lbs! The mat was delivered with 3 diff types of floor protectors clearly outlined for flat surfaces, rug surfaces or carpet surfaces. That was a great idea!
