Overall satisfied with the chair, very comfortable. One thing to note, the details section on the Perigold website describes the "recliner base type" as "lift assist". This led me to believe the chair had lift assist capability, it does not. Particularly disappointing since my wife is planning hip replacement and this was an important feature for me. Very nice quality, clearly not a cheaply made model. the power took a little getting used to from his prior recliner - you can't just push your feet down and get out, you have to (obviously) power it back down. But once he got used to it, he found it very comfortable, loves the headrest that comes up to meet the back of your head a bit higher even after feet are up. Very beautiful and we get so many compliments. Table is super light so easy to move around (which I appreciate). However, please be aware that the sloped edges add a complexity of shrinking the usable flat space on top for drinks or anything you want to place on top. I am fairly certain that at some point, someone will place their drink too close to the edge and it will slide right off onto the carpet.
