It is actually pretty comfortable if you don’t sit on the seam. It is firm but softens over time. The feel of the material is soft, which I like. It isn’t slick, but feels like worn leather. It is holding up beautifully — no problems. I paid about $250 more than the current price. So this is a good deal. I feel that it was a good investment and I am happy! I honestly love this couch way more than I expected to. The green velvet color is gorgeous in person — it gives that moodyjewel-tone vibe without looking too dark or cheap. It completely elevated my apartment aesthetic and became the centerpiece of my living room immediately. The size worked really well for my space too since I’m in an apartment and didn’t want something massive or overwhelming. It has that modern, clean look while still feeling cozy. The velvet is soft, the tufting looks expensive, and it photographs insanely well. Assembly was pretty straightforward overall. I was able to get it together without wanting to launch myself into another dimension, which already gives it bonus points. One thing I did NOT expect is how weirdly easy this fabric is to clean. I’ve gotten spills, stains, marker, and even BBQ sauce out of it using just cool water and a tiny bit of dish soap. I was honestly convinced some of those stains were permanent and they came right out without ruining the fabric or color. That alone makes this couch worth it to me because life happens and I didn’t want something high-maintenance. Comfort-wise, I’d say it’s more supportivefirm than cloud-soft, but I actually prefer that because it keeps the couch looking structured instead of saggy after a few months. Great for lounging, gaming, scrolling for hours, or having friends over. For the price, I genuinely think it looks much more expensive than it is. Did not expect the back part of the sofa to be a piece of metal and light fabric covering it, but for the price I can’t complain. Works for its purpose for now but don’t expect it to be durable in the long run. I love the color and am happy with the purchase! (the plastic on the sofa is to protect from my cats scratching). Absolutely love it! The box was huge, and took a long time to be delivered. But, the parts were well packaged, easy to remove, couch was very easy to assemble. Very comfortable, the single cushion is exactly the right extra firmness I wanted, the fabric is lovely and matches the bronze coffee table (not pictured, sorry) I have perfectly. I love this couch! It's really a statement piece in our efficiency apartment that we rent out for short-term stays. ("The Canyon") The fabric makes it look posh/interesting. It's comfortable, but not cushiony. It seems like it's going to keep its shape over time better than other, more billowy, couches. I sprayed it with upholstery protector when it was brand new and it did well. No change in color or texture. Delivery was smooth and easy. I really appreciated having it set up for us, even though it's a pretty simple assembly. I paid over $900, which I think might be a little overpriced for the quality.
