Replaced 2 8 foot flourescent garage ceiling mount lights. Not user friendly with respect to mounting on ceiling where existing wiring penetrates. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My house is full of light fixtures that use fluorescent lights bulbs. The fixtures are huge, ugly and a pain to change the tubes. When we saw this LED fixture it seemed too good to be true. It is the right size to cover the the hole from our old fixtures, is low profile and sleek looking and energy efficient. We replaced the old fixture in my kitchen and I have been just living this new light. The LED is brighter but not as harsh as the old fluorescent lights.
