Found the perfect installation product! I was looking to make an old fixture smart automated and this SkyPlug canopy kit allowed me do just that. The company has a SkyHome app that controls my light and best part was how easy it was to install the plug and canopy onto my fixture. After installing the outlet and plugging in my Eurofase fixture I realized how dirty the glass was. The Skyplug allowed me the ease of unplugging and cleaning my glass fixture on the ground and then quickly plugging it back into the ceiling. Where has this amazing invention been? You can use it with almost any hanging light! I think I might just install these in the whole house. The chandelier is beautiful however, the candlestick sleeves are not. The finish is supposed to be rustic wood which just looks awful. We contacted to the company to see if they could send a solid colored sleeve, they don’t sell them. Also found out we paid $100 more for this on Wayfair than what we could’ve paid from manufacturer. First and last time buying from Wayfair. Not really a good deal even with a coupon. Very frustrating!! The chandelier finally got hung in our two story and looks beautiful. We sanded the awful rustic finish off the metal candlesticks and spray painted them with Krylon Fusion all in one spray paint. Unfortunately, these lights don’t work in my house. They are made for new construction and in order to make them work in an older house. You have to retrofit the light fixture, which would cost more money than it’s worth. They are not made to go right into an existing light fixture. You will need to order the springs from the company for them to work unless you have newer construction they won’t work. That being said, they seem like good quality.
