This product is a replacement for the 6kw unit that i had for 10 years. I actually don't have a use for the lights and speakers as my shower is already done. Not very happy with the programmability of the unit. You can only run the unit in 30 min increments. So if it takes 15 minutes to get up to temp you have to run it for another 30 + 15 remaining from the preheat. Maybe I'll find a way to not have to add 30 min. These lights are great. I was able to install them myself and I am not an electrician (although a very capable DIYer). The box sits perfectly inside the ceiling and the switch to adjust the light temperature is on the side facing the hole so you don't have to keep pulling it out to adjust. The lights are wafer thin and the clips are easy enough to manage. The lights look high-end. Flat to the ceiling for a modern vibe. They are perfect for vaulted ceilings, and the kelvins are good. I gave them 4-stars because one of the lights had a slightly different hue to it. We ordered 3000k, but one of the lights has an amber undertone. Found the perfect installation product! I was looking to make an old fixture smart automated and this SkyPlug canopy kit allowed me do just that. The company has a SkyHome app that controls my light and best part was how easy it was to install the plug and canopy onto my fixture. After installing the outlet and plugging in my Eurofase fixture I realized how dirty the glass was. The Skyplug allowed me the ease of unplugging and cleaning my glass fixture on the ground and then quickly plugging it back into the ceiling. Where has this amazing invention been? You can use it with almost any hanging light! I think I might just install these in the whole house. These seem to be great lights to replace some of our existing can lights with. They can connect with an app that I’m really excited to test out and see how interactive they are. It is also conveniently UL Listed for wet conditions only indoor wet locations such as above a shower. For exterior they would need to be installed in damp location such as a covered porch, soffit, etc.. A place where the fixtures would not receive direct saturation.

Honestly I haven’t had the chance to install this yet but I have several friends that have used these before and it didn’t seem to be difficult.
