Less sturdy as my old stove. There is no handle to open the bread drawer at the bottom. It is difficult to use the drawer. Currently looking for another handle to add to the bread drawer. I purchased this to replace an older vent hood that was still functional but looked dated. This unit was very easy to install and has a nice clean look that blends in well with my other appliances.. As far as the operation of the unit it is much quieter than my old unit and seems to do a much better job of pulling in all of the smoke and condensation compared to the older unit that I replaced. It is easy to keep clean and the light is well placed to allow for sufficient illumination of the cooking surface. I highly recommend this unit. It is a good value and a great product.. Davidl.
