The range hood came well packaged and the assembly instructions were easy to follow. As we were missing a few inches to the ceiling with the included chimney component, we ordered the longer version directly from the manufacturer. Including a picture of the range hood after install, and a second picture after painting. Our only issue with the product is that it “whistles” at its lower speeds and due to slightly inconsistent suction, the metal grills were vibrating against the lower horizontal frame. Temperature is accurate. • Advice (as one does with any new range): Compare oven temp with separate oven thermometer • Audio alert such as the moment when the oven has reached the preheat temp and when bake time is reached, is faint compared to other ovens I have used. Please amplify the alert or allow the user to set the volume on alerts. Some folks may be harder of hearing than others. • Storage drawer is large enough to store unused oven racks as well as (separately acquired) broiler pans. • Warming center (a great feature) on cooktop passed the melted butter test (i.e. keeping butter in melted but not over-heated state) • Instead of two large burners in the front, the cooktop would be much more useful if one of the burners in the front could allow the user to select either a larger burner circumference or a smaller one. Sometimes, a smaller burner is the only one needed. (Tea for two, for example.) • Oven door projects into the room a bit more than I expected, but is not obtrusive for my galley kitchen. • The oven shuts off when the timer reaches the set time. We just had it installed yesterday. Recommend that you get a print out of the specifications and the installation. From what I was able to read in Wayfare’s description section, we would be able to install the unit flush with the ceiling. And unfortunately, because I didn’t have printed specifications we had to drop down the unit a foot from the ceiling. Not the inconspicuous flush mount unit and I was hoping for. According to my contractor, this was a very complicated unit to install. To be fair this is a relatively new category of range top hoods that are being offered. Pleased with the noise level, but have yet to cook with it. Read reviews from other previous purchasers, and a common statement was how small the remote controller was.
