This will be one of the hidden splurges that I will always be grateful we went for. Lets face it ordering a steam generator is the most boring part of any shower renovation. So here are the highlights: This unit is fast , quiet, and has quite a few whistles if you will. Area on steam head for essential oils and a wonderful chromatherapy light, two control panels (inside and outside) and the auto drain. I purchase the in line filter too ( florida has hard water) . In all extremely pleased. Only reason it did not get a 5 star rating. Looking for a black matte finish on the steam heads and controllers, not available and the oil rubbed bronze look on these is just okay. You will not be receiving this product as pictured. The pictured item is the sensor probe for their commercial stream generators. The residential stream generator only comes with the probe, no metal housing/ grill. Mr. Stan expects you to put the probe within your grout....so not sure how this would work down the road if you ever needed to service or replace this probe...rip out your grout? Also, you'd need to consider your spacing in your grout where you'd be placing this probe. Wish I knew ahead of ordering and then requesting replacement which arrived like the first, no housing/grill. We got this installed by the professional. It's not so easy for DIY. You need 240v electrical box. It comes with two controllers, one for inside the shower and one outside. It works good so far. I only have for a few days. It doesn't produce as much steam as I would hope, but enough to fill the shower. We have a large shower. It takes 3-5 minutes to fill the shower with steam.. Paxton.
