While the sofa is well made and good looking, it is not practical. Being 5'5", the back of the sofa is so low, you can't lean back. The pillows extend higher than the backrest of the sofa, however, they are soft and do not support your back. Anyone average height or taller will not find this sofa comfortable. So much to love about this sofa: sturdy build, nice quality leather throughout, including the sides and back, warm classic color, styling to match just about anything, deep seating and back cushions that stay put with velcro. The back cushions have a nice solid structure, not slouchy like other designs. The edged seams are a nice design element that gives the sofa a more casual and inviting appeal.
