Buying a rug online can be stressful when you’re relying heavily on reviews and customer photos, so I wanted to share my experience in case it helps someone else. We have kids, a Belgian Malinois and a GSD puppy (plus a cat ha) Durability, appearance, and not immediately showing dirt so I’m not cleaning over and over each hour are priority. We had to get a 9x12 due to the space, and I genuinely do think it’s a beautiful rug. I ended up using a 14” feltrubber backing pad underneath that’s made a big difference. However, had this rug not been on sale when we purchased it, I would have had a hard time justifying the full retail price. It’s a nice-looking rug and has met our needs, but after several weeks of use, I feel the quality is good—not exceptional.
