This pair of nutcrackers is really beautiful and good quality and substantial weight not flimsy at all… I really love them, but I noticed there was only one review when I placed my order and that review said they were beautiful, but arrived broken… One of mine also arrived with a minor breakage… It’s minor enough that I can repair it myself, but I feel that the company needs to package them differently… They are packed in good shipping boxes and Styrofoam forms to keep them from moving, but I think they need an outer layer to prevent breakage… I plan to keep them and they are exactly what I hoped they would be ..if I could change one thing I just wish that they were larger than they are, but they meet the specifications mentioned. Each tall metal nutcracker stands atop a 5.5" tall circular base (resembling a snare drum) which holds and conceals one of the two battery packs with on/off switch for the white LED lights in the leg (the second pack is hidden in the back of the nutcracker and controls the lights on the jacket).
