Really like the color and the scalloped edges on this rug. The wool is dense and a short pile, which is exactly what we wanted. However, I had to take a point off because it arrived folded instead of rolled. While after a few days the big lumps are settling down, the straight line indent where it was folded is still there. The "Dove" color is in between tan and gray. I would call it taupe. I have not seen another rug like this. It seems to be made very well and I had no issues with the fringe. Normally I don't like a fringed rug (OCD) but the fringes are sewn onto a kind of wire? so they don't flop around and they don't look like they will fray. If you love jute or sisal look but don't want the smell or the shedding, it's a great alternative. My only knock is that it's very thin, but it's made for outdoors so it would be perfect for a dining room! It's in my guest bath now but I will be moving it to my kitchen. Because it's so flat, it won't be a tripping hazard and I don't think I'll have to worry about stains. I will be purchasing more in other sizes and that says a lot because I'm usually very picky about my rugs. For once I'm happily surprised, not disappointed! It’s soft under my feet and the color variations and texture are just gorgeous. It will match any neutral decor. I don’t have a rug pad under it.
