The chairs are very well made. Solid construction, the woodgrain is beautiful and the lines are clean. My only negative is I wish the cushions were a bit thicker/plusher. The fabric is also not as cream colored as pictured, not in a bad way, but it's almost like linen (in appearance) with some darker threads mixed in to give it some interesting depth. Good looking which is what i was going for. But it's also an occasional guest chair. It's not comfortable. And, after we had it a while we noticed a tear in the faux leather at the bend in the arm. Perhaps it was there from the beginning and we didn't notice it, or perhaps we damaged it when unpacking it, or perhaps sitting in a warm dry climate the fabric simply gave way.
