Originally created in 1968, by the famous Viennese Designer, the Morelli Arc Lamp is a historical reissue masterminded by Peter Morelli himself. Peter was one of the first designers to utilize bent wood to create the unique arm of the lamp. When this light was originally introduced the design was attributed to Harvey Guzzini, a nom de plume used to disguise the identity of Nova’s chief designer and ensure he was not recruited away from Nova. The stately Morelli Arc Lamp boasts black stained wood and satin nickel accents, harmonizing with a lucite molded shade. Nova of California has done it again. Solid build, safely packed in 2 separate boxes. No damage to any of the pieces. Really easy to build, 1 person job. Overall, I'm satisfied with this purchase. The quality is exactly what I expected, and with a 64% discount, it's definitely a great deal. However, at full price, these canvases would feel overpriced and not worth it. As for shipping, the outer packaging arrived damaged and had a hole in it. The canvas inside, in the area where the hole was, had some dirt on it. Thankfully, the artwork itself was not damaged.
