Once I hung my bedside lamp, also Wayfair, I realized I needed a bedside table to complete the look. Since I didn't have a table top lamp then I didn't need a large nightstand. The drawer is relatively deep, I placed the tissue box inside to give an idea of the depth. The drawer does not have any metal rail, it's a wood ledge inside the frame it slides into.
