I thought that upon moving from the acreage to a townhouse my smoking days were done, boy was I wrong.
I debated over several outdoor cooking options and after reading reviews and the simple fact that this grill burns real wood for smoke I opted to by the Ninja. I was expecting a weak smoke, just enough to appease my yearning but not enough to wow me. Consider me wowed, Fired up the grill for the first time today, -12c outside, and cold smoked Cheese and then butter using Applewood pellets, and wow, the intensity and authenticity of the smoke blew me away. Just finished smoking pork loin and chicken and as a longtime smoker I can tell you, this unit is no joke, the crust and the smoke level in the meat blew me away, and the smoke was clean, I’ve wrecked many a meat trying to get the smoke level correct. Two weeks ago if you would have told me you could get restaurant quality smoked bbq from an Electric grill I would have laughed at you.
