Perfect, perfect, perfect! This light is in a room 13' x 13' with 9' ceilings, over a queen sized bed. It's fantastic. I have 40 watt bulbs in the fixture. It is not on a dimmer. It casts a lovely warm light throughout the room. It's not bright-white reading/task light, but I didn't want that. I wanted useful but calm mood lighting. These bulbs with this fixture would be absolutely perfect over a dining table. If you used 60 or 100 watt bulbs it would be quite bright. Apologies for the poor photography - it's tough to photograph bare bulbs! This is a pretty great table—it’s literally the only one I could find that is the size and style I wanted. Although “solid wood,” it’s not the most heavy-duty construction, but seems solid overall. My biggest criticism would be some of the rounded over corners on the leg pieces. They’re not “damaged,” per se, but just not sharp and crisp. Suddenly hosting? This classic coupe dinnerware set gives you everything you need to set a complete table from the contents of one box.

I had been wanting white dishes for a while. I finally pulled the trigger on these dishes and I’m so glad I did. One of my issues has been the cereal bowls in most sets are so deep they don’t fit in the dishwasher well. These don’t have that issue. The trade off though is they’re so wide a teaspoon can slide down into the bowl. I love that there are also serving pieces included. So far I really like these dishes though. They arrived well packaged and not one was broken. I’m hoping they don’t show scratches from using a knife to cut meat on them. So far so good. 6 month update I still really like these dishes. They have held up well and do not show scratches from cutting meat on them. There has also been no chips, cracks or stains. I wish it was in stock so I could order a set for our second home. The only negative is now I’m finding the stickers from the bottom in my dishwasher. 9 month update, I still like the dishes, but a few now have chips on the edges. I’m not sure exactly how they happened as we are not rough with our dishes. We don’t have any young kids at home. I can see a few scratches on the plates as well, but they’re not too bad.. Susan.
