When I placed my order I was a bit confused. I thought this was an entire recessed lighting unit, but it is only the outer trim. I contacted customer service and got everything straightened out. The trim makes it look professionally installed even though it was a DIY. The brightness was surprising as was how quickly the light is full bright. These are great lights. The adjustable feature for color temperature works very well, and the lights themselves seem to be of good quality.
