Wow. Our contractor said he had never seen anything like it. It's super heavy and you can feel it's solid. My only hesitation was that the spout for tub filler is going to be a lot higher than usual, but I think it'll work. I bought two colors, the Unlacquered Satin Brass and the Matte Nickel. Both are stunning. Satin brass as a very subtle shine, but maybe a bit too rose gold-like for our bathroom. The Nickel is a lot more transitional and neutral, think I'll end up keeping it.. I’ve grown to hate appliances with overly complicated computers in them. They constantly break and never work well. I love that this stove only has the features you need for cooking. The burners work very well and are true to the temperatures you select. I used to have Cafe ranges and they all would get way too hot and were more difficult to control. This Kucht range is more true and is much easier to cook with. You can still get things scorching hot if you want, but you can also gently simmer. One thing I don’t like is that the broiler is only down the center of the oven. I often finish dishes off under the broiler to get things browned quickly on top. The broiler feature will only work on things near the center so you can’t get an even broil over a casserole for instance. Thankfully I have a second oven or this would be a big issue for me. The other slight issue is that parts of the exterior get quite warm when the oven on. Especially near the bottom. Not great when young kids are in the house.
