Some of the top and bottom edge will need to relax to lay completely flat. The rug looks a little bit different in color than the picture. However it is because of the deep shag. Works for us, easy to clean, soft on the feet. We have 4 kids and 2 dogs so it gets alot of traffic. Only complaint is after one month two corners will still not lie flat. Update: 5/4/20 The corners did eventually lie down though it took a while. We love this rug, it takes a beating under the kitchen table, but it is easy to roll up and hose off outside when a kids spills a cup of milk or something. Still looking good after all this time.
