It took a while to unpack and prep for install, but the initial impression of the unit itself is pretty good. It is a nice looking unit. It appears to be smaller than I expected but I haven't got it all together yet. I am VERY disappointed that the delivery people dropped it in my driveway without any contact or calls, they just left it and I was home. When you pay for a large item to be delivered inside it is frustrating. I had to push it inside my garage and it took two months for them to come back and bring it inside. As for packaging, it almost looks like the unit had been returned. The crating and packing was horrible and I'm surprised that I don't have damage, although I did find some. Arrived two days ago. I paid to have it dropped directly onto my concrete pad. Got electrical hooked up yesterday, filled it up last night, got in it this morning. The good stuff: It looks good, should be very reliable given how simple it is, and was a great price. The not-so-good stuff: They sent me the wrong color, the ozonator was broken upon arrival, the drain connection is tucked back under the tub and has no shutoff valve, the jets control is just one button but still manages to be confusing. But, at the end of the day, I just want some hot water, with jets, and not have it die every six months. So, I'm mostly a happy customer. Update: Just a heads-up, exactly where the cover lift arm attaches, there's a vertical strap in the way (see my photo). Steamspa / SWCorp does not service their products. When something goes wrong you have to open up the unit and troubleshoot yourself or pay a contractor to do it. Mine worked for about six months then stopped producing steam. Warranty covers almost nothing. It doesn't cover "parts", so I'm not sure what it covers. Customer service offered to sell me a new one at a 20% discount or buy new heating elements and drain valve since the tank is not draining. None of this is covered under warranty. I'd go with anther brand who offers service after you buy the unit. Like Mr. Steam. In fact, I'm going to buy one to replace malfunctioning Steamspa.. Anonymous. Mon Mar 10 2025
