This lamp is of much higher quality than most. The base is heavy and with a metal extension on the base, it is not tipsy. It is easy to assemble but might be heavy for some to move. Indeed, Brightech needs to invest in better packaging. The outer box and inner box were undamaged, but the styrofoam inside was crumbled by the weight of the components inside. I needed this for stitch work, but find it does not rotate to a horizontal position over my project. As you can see from the picture I will have to look thru the lens and hold my stitch work up to the light. That is not ideal.
